Nails By Elena ("we", "us") is a sole trader business based in Harlow, Essex. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book an appointment through this website, and how we use it.
What we collect
When you make a booking, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The service(s) and appointment time you select
- A reference photo, if you choose to upload one
- Payment details for your deposit — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details ourselves
How we use it
Your information is used only to:
- Confirm, manage, and remind you about your appointment
- Process your deposit payment via Stripe
- Contact you if we need to change or cancel your appointment
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this booking system:
- Stripe — processes your deposit payment
- Resend — sends your booking confirmation, reminder, and any cancellation emails
- Supabase — securely stores your reference photo, if you upload one
- Google Calendar — if Elena has connected her calendar, your name, the service(s) and any add-ons you selected, and your appointment time may be added to it, so she can see her schedule at a glance. Your phone number, email address, and price/deposit details are never sent to Google — those stay only in this system's own admin dashboard
We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as reasonably necessary for business and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Contact below.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
